Kensington’s rapid population growth demands better infrastructure, including parking and schools. The 402 bus and Upfield Line are already under pressure; need improved public transport to ease congestion at key intersections like Stubbs and Macauley.
Despite a $2M developer donation, promised green space along Moonee Ponds Creek remains undeveloped; where are the developer-contibution funds going? Immediate action is needed to provide parks and open areas for Kensington's growing community.
The delayed refurbishment of Kensington Recreation Centre leaves many without fitness and community programs - Council must ensure there are no further delays to it's delivery in 2025. Its timely reopening is crucial for meeting the needs of the area’s growing population.
